Rawleigh had a wonderful 5th birthday party in June which contained two of her favorite things: art + hearts. We had a mobile art van come to our house, a lovely birthday brunch with heart-shaped waffles and played in the pool with about 40 of her closest friends (we don’t know how this happened, but she is a loved child!).

 

She still loves ballet and we are looking forward to her spring performance, while also taking tennis lessons with Myles and starting gymnastics again after taking 1-year off. Musically, she is in her 5th month of piano lessons which we picked up again after taking a hiatus for a few years.

 

This school year, Rawleigh has grown LEAPS and bounds more than we could have imagined. Socially, she tries to be diplomatic and has such a big heart for others. Emotionally, we are going through ups and downs of big emotions but are maintaining a pretty steady up! Mentally, she is a tough girl who has no bounds when it comes to information absorption. Physically, well, we are constantly asked if she and Myles are twins (they are 18 months apart - she is often assumed as the older of the two based on height alone!).

 

We love hearing her logic and her observations continue to blow us away, daily. She is very witty and still aspires to be like Myles...but, better. In all honesty, she is his biggest cheerleader!
